Dr Yo-Han Choi

Principal Dentist
Dr Yo-Han Choi is a compassionate and detail-oriented dentist with extensive experience in general and cosmetic dentistry. He graduated with honours from the University of Queensland and has worked across Sydney, including Bondi Junction and the CBD, before making Canada Bay Dental his professional home. After years of dedicated care at the practice, he partnered with Dr David Jang to take ownership, ensuring continuity in patient-focused treatment.
With a gentle and empathetic approach, Dr Choi is especially skilled in treating nervous patients, always prioritising their comfort. His expertise extends to advanced cosmetic dentistry, and he has undertaken further training in facial injectables, including wrinkle relaxers and dermal fillers. Currently, he is completing a Master of Clinical Dentistry (MClinDent) in Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics at King’s College in London, refining his skills in complex cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry.
Beyond the clinic, Dr Yo-Han shares his knowledge by lecturing across Australia on aesthetic and natural cosmetic restorations. He finds great fulfilment in helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles and creating a welcoming environment where they feel at ease.
Dr David Jang

Principal Dentist
Dr David Jang is a dedicated and highly skilled dentist with a passion for orthodontics and implant dentistry. After graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Queensland, he gained extensive experience working across multiple clinics in Sydney, refining his expertise in general and cosmetic dentistry. His meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence ensure that every patient receives high-quality, personalised care.
Patients appreciate Dr Jang’s warm and understanding nature, particularly his ability to put them at ease. He takes the time to listen to their concerns, making dental visits more comfortable for patients of all ages. His passion for advanced dentistry has led him to complete a two-year orthodontic programme with Progressive Orthodontic Seminars (POS) and pursue a Master of Implantology at Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, further expanding his knowledge in complex dental treatments.
For Dr David, providing exceptional care means staying at the forefront of advancements in dentistry. His dedication to continued education allows him to offer tailored treatment solutions with precision and expertise.
Dr David Attia

Associate Dentist
Dr David Attia is a skilled and passionate dentist with a special interest in oral surgery, wisdom teeth removal, dental implantology, and gum surgery. After earning his dental degree from Griffith University in Queensland, he pursued extensive postgraduate training, completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics through the City of London Dental School. His dedication to surgical excellence led him to obtain a Master’s in Oral Implantology from Goethe University in Frankfurt, Germany, refining his expertise in advanced dental implants and soft tissue augmentation.
A Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and an active member of the Australian Society of Implant Dentistry (ASID), Dr David remains at the forefront of modern implant techniques. He is also a clinical instructor for dentists undertaking orthodontic training through EODO, Australia, and frequently lectures on oral implantology both locally and internationally. Passionate about education, he mentors dentists through live surgical training, helping them build confidence in implantology procedures.
Outside of dentistry, Dr Attia enjoys travelling, playing soccer, and going to the gym. He is actively involved in his church community and values spending quality time with family and friends.

As a dentist myself, I know what differentiates good from great and Dr Yohan Choi is quite simply as good as it gets, both in the dentistry he performs and in his care and approach. I drove an hour to see him myself today. I could not recommend him anymore highly, have been taught by him and refer patients regularly to him. I recently spent a lot of money here, getting my teeth fixed. And it was worth every penny. Dr Yo-Han is skilled, pleasant and dedicated to making sure his patients are happy and well informed of everything being done. Reception staff and nurses are friendly and helpful. In an era where you can say customer service is dead - Im glad a dental practice like Canada Bay Dental exists. Excellent customer service all the way from reception staff to the medical staff. Friendly yet professional, and the facilities are clean and modern. You feel like you are being taken care of and not just another 'number'. The parking is plentiful which is a huge plus. Highly recommend this dental practice - you will not be dissapointed! 5 stars!!!

Saved me a number of times for emergency dental work. Roberta is so prompt in responding by SMS about booking appointments. I can't always call so the SMS service makes such a difference. I travel 30 minutes or more to see Dr Choi because he is fantastic. My 3 year old son recently had his first check up and enjoyed it. He also loves the play area in the foyer.
